The Cadia Hill deposit is a sheeted quartz vein system located almost entirely within the quartz monzonite porphyry phase of the Cadia Intrusive Suite. The predominant alteration is propylitic (chloriteepidote) with narrow domains of structurallycontrolled phyllic (sericitic) alteration.
